Earlier this month, Ted McLoof and Cosmorama took Empty Calories and Male Curiosity: Stories on the road.

Two cities. Three venues. Lots of Guinness.

We began in Baltimore during AWP '26 with back-to-back readings. Vinyl & Pages - a beautiful store that sells records and books - hosted us alongside Anna Dickson James and Sean Munro. Anna read from her story collection Boys Buy Me Drinks to Watch Me Fall Down, published by Whiskey Tit, while Sean - representing Lavender Ink / Diálogos - read poetry.

The next day saw Ted read at Pete's Pour House alongside James Hoch and Ron Pullins. James read from Last Pawn Shop in New Jersey: Poems - published by LSU Press - and Ron read from the recently-released Dollartorium, published by Unsolicited Press.

Then, Brooklyn. March 12 at Kent Ale House in Williamsburg - where Ted was joined by H.M. Ryan, who read the prologue to his next novel to 20+ people who braved hideous, hideous weather to come listen to fiction on a Thursday night.

If you haven't gotten your copy of Empty Calories yet, now's the time.
